Join the Fallbrook Regional Health District for "Dementia & Friends," an interactive, 60-minute session designed to help you better understand dementia and learn meaningful ways to support neighbors, friends, and family members living with it.
Presented in partnership with Aging & Independence Services, this informative workshop is open to everyone looking to make a positive impact in our community.
A Dementia Friend is someone who changes the way they think, act, and talk about dementia. During this brief interactive presentation, you will:
Understand the core signs and symptoms of dementia.
Learn dementia-friendly communication techniques and connection strategies.
Discover practical ways to help individuals with dementia live well within our community.
