Our Story
We’ve provided Senior Caregiving and Consultation services for over nine years and have since relaunched our company as AdvanCare. Our new name comes along with an expanded team, additional services that reflect our mission, and the need to build relationships for generations to come.
Amy Freitas, the co-founder of AdvanCare, started her journey at the age of 19 when her mother became terminally ill with brain cancer. This devastating news came at a time when balancing college life, a part-time job, and maintaining the responsibilities of family life was all too new and stressful. Amy had to now face new responsibilities of being her mother’s caregiver while navigating through the healthcare, and support systems. Through this journey, Amy was able to learn more about the caregiving process and was compelled with the passion to support others.
With the support of her husband John Freitas, AdvanCare has evolved into a more advanced and personalized resource today. As compassionate entrepreneurs, their goal is to provide resources and care for seniors in need of love, and a caring community through their hands-on personalized approach to caregiving.
